Back from vacation and easing back into the project. Though the last couple
weeks were not spent on the RV project, I did spend quite a bit of time on
aviation. I did my BFR and IPC while down in Texas, as well as flying
another 10 hours or so. I should be ready to fly into Oshkosh at the end of
the month. For today on the project, I trimmed the stiffeners for the
elevators. |

Okay, not spending a lot of time yet, but I'm at least trying to make it
daily or fairly close to every day. I marked and finished trimming the angle
on the stiffeners for the elevators. Next up is some quality time with the
Scotch-Brite wheel. |

Close to the effort to spend time on the plane daily, I spent about a half
hour cleaning up the garage and recycling boxes that had piled up. I need to
start getting space ready for the quick-build kit, which could be ready at
any time now. (Though I'm not expecting it until after Oshkosh at the end of
the month.) |

Put the belt sander to a little use and ground down the edges on the
stiffeners. Should be an easy task to smooth out the edges now. Up next is
all of the edge prep on the right elevator and stiffeners, then to match
drill them. |
