Memorial Day Weekend trip to the Oregon Dunes. This is our fourth year to travel down there. Katy and I brought Lily and Kara and borrowed Dave and Carol Schaffner's old trailer, which made for a great camping experience. We're strongly considering buying a travel trailer of our own now! Bob and Michelle Schaffner, Bob's folks Dave and Carol and his sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Jason with their kids Ethan and Tasha rounded out their extended family. Aaron and Lindsey S. (Can't remember the last name at the moment, but they are the other half of "S&S Racing".) with their son Lane were out as well in the Blazer and the Blue Yamaha Blaster quad. Lane is four and he and Lily had a good time together for the most part.
The trip down took seven hours including the two stops to feed Kara and let Lily play a little. The trailer is convenient for that as well. Trip back was a comparative "quick" at five and half with one less stop along the way.
