Seattle and Olympic Peninsula, WA

Took the week off and drove up to the Seattle area, then on to Port Angeles and the Olympic National Park Area:

We stopped at Dairy Queen on the way up. Two Hours! Lily then proceeded to crash in the Truck with the book up against her.

Manchester State Park across the Sound from Seattle. Nice camping spot. We'll certainly go back!

Rode the Ferry over to visit Kathryn and Carrie. They have Chickens, which Lily tried to imitate. They have a nice cozy place in West Seattle with a great yard.

Time to relax around the trailer since it rained!

Dinner again back with Kathryn and Carrie. Lily "helped" making brownies and homemade spaghetti with Carrie.

Left the truck in Bremerton and took the stroller and ferry over to Seattle. Nice visit to the Space Needle and walk around the area.

We moved on up to Shadow Mountain RV Park about 15 miles west of Port Angeles, WA. The space with tight length wise and I had to park sideways.

Lily ate on the Cherry Dilly Bar from DQ for three desserts!

On to the Olympic National Park. Great Kids area in the visitor center in Port Angeles. Hurricane Ridge was not so impressive due to the clouds, but Lily got a small bag of polished rocks that are her new treasures!

After nap trip to Marymere Falls near Lake Crescent.

Packing up and moving out. Lily put this stabilizer jack up all by herself.

We left the RV Park at 10:00am, stopped at the Hoh Valley Rain forest for lunch and a short Hike through the "Hall of Moss". Trees grow crazy fast here with 140 inches of rain each year! The trailer in the parking lot worked out great for lunch. There was a wonderfully clear creak on the trail with tiny salmon in it.
