Packed up the trailer and headed out...
To the coast just in time for a great sunset. (Okay, so we got there in daylight but drove for a couple hours south.)
Setup "camp" in the dark.
Look. They both have cell phones.
Lily of course went exploring around the campsite.
Lighthouse and Sea Lions. Really. You can see them if you look close.
Lunch at Mo's. At first, Lily had the cracker and clam chowder thing down, but then she decided to use a straw. (?)
Sea Lion Caves were empty right now and a bit of a disappointment.
Kara and I went for a nice long walk to the beach and around. Nice sunset. She fell asleep in the pack.
Family hike up to the Heceta Head lighthouse. (3 mile round trip.) Great views on the trail and a nice picnic lunch by the lighthouse. Kara was asleep when we got there so we just set her down on my jacket on the grass. Lily was asleep for most of the hike back.
Yes, Kara is a cute one.
Thanksgiving in the Trailer! We cooked a full turkey in the little tiny oven and had a wonderful turkey dinner all around the table.
Getting ready to head out. Lily is getting some energy out.
